What is content management?

Content management is a system that enables you to store, retrieve, update, share, and search your files. You can also keep track of different versions and add "metadata," descriptive terms about your files.

At UNH, we will be implementing Blackboard's content management system (CMS).

Access to your files can be done in two ways:

1. Directly from your desktop (as long as you are connected to the Internet)
2. From within https://blackboard.unh.edu

To share files, set permissions, turn on versioning, add metadata, or search your files, you will need to access them through Blackboard.
